Certification Program is a joint initiative between Cytron Technologies and the Asia Pacific University (APU) School of Engineering. It is a platform for beginners including primary and secondary school students, educators, and even parents to access quality robotics and coding education. Upon completing the course, successful candidates will receive an e-certificate in recognition of their hard work and achievement.

Project Submission / Practical Coding Tasks
Candidates need to go through all lessons in the book and attempt the application challenges at the end of each chapter. To receive the course completion certificate, they will need to sit for and pass the final course assessment (theory test + practical coding tasks/project submission).
Distinction 85% and above
Merit 70% - 84%
Pass 60% - 69%
This is a FREE program; there is no registration fee.

i. Theory (50%)
Candidates will need to sit for an online theory quiz (via Google Form). The test will cover the content of the book as outlined in the course overview.
ii. Practical (50%)
EDU PICO & EDU:BIT Courses: Candidates will need to build an original project (individual). They will be required to submit:
a short demo video to show how the project works.
code with comments, and
an A4-sized poster.
ZOOM:BIT Course: Candidates will be given practical coding tasks. They will be required to submit
a video clearly showing ZOOM:BIT performing the task requirements, and also
code with comments
Depending on the number of candidates, please allow us up to one month to evaluate all submissions. Successful candidates will receive an e-cert (via email).

Is there an option to purchase the kit which does not include micro:bit board?
Yes, you can if you already have a micro:bit. Get it at www.cytron.io
